This is a course focused on human monetary decision making. It combines findings from behavioral and neural sciences (cognitive neuroscience, Neuroeconomics and Neurofinance; social endocrinology, behavioral finance) to elucidate how human beings make financial decisions. It is based on examples of neural and behavioral research on monetary and investment choices. Topics include fundamental tools in neuroeconomics, the neurobiology of valuation, choice and learning; morality, social decision making, decision-making under uncertainty, neurofinance, belief formation, neuroforecasting, pathological decision-making. It will encourage future thinking and speculation about the potential applications of the state-of-the-art research in supporting individual and collective decision-making and teach how to select and use valid scientific facts. 
Course objectives
After completing this course, the learners will be able to:
*  Distinguish the role of memory, emotions, and moral value affecting the neural states as components of (economic and financial) decision-making processes in the brain
* Describe the methodology of neuroeconomics, neurofinance and new arising related disciplines
* Read with comprehension current scientific literature in the fields of related to cognitive neuroscience relevant to financial decision making
* Propose future avenues for interdisciplinary applied research and development of decision making support tools (e.g. neurotech, wealthtech)
